Dragons have been a cultural symbol for Asian communities for generations, representing great strength, luck and wisdom. Rabbits are known to represent mercy, grace and devotion. The Dragon dance is traditionally performed around Lunar New Year, where the longer the Dragon, the more dancers it had; the greater the luck provided for the community and it's year ahead.
Let this be a positive message, that the power of community and strength in minorities voices uplifting each other be heard. Where we together as a united front can combat racism and hate crime for a better future.
