A Collaboration between GIRLS SHRED and Emily Ramai Kim. 15% of the profits will be donated to 4KINSHIP Diné Skate Garden Project, in building a transformative space for Diné youth and their families on Navajo Nation. Where the goal is to support an indigenous community, by providing a safe and inclusive public skatepark to empower strength and resilience after the hardships faced during this pandemic.
Girls Shred
Girls Shred connects girls globally by creating a platform that gives them a chance to get exposure and to feel engaged and supported. A community where girls get the chance to visibly inspire and motivate each other and make new connections.
Emily Ramai Kim is a comic artist and freelance illustrator currently based in Denver, Colorado. Emily is Thai-Korean-American and aims to share stories and create environments that help others feel understood, safe, and less alone in this world.
‘Skateboarding is for Everybody’ was created because there’s no right or wrong way to skate, and there’s no one way to define what skateboarding is supposed to look like. I hope everybody gets to skate to make memories, stay true to yourself, and love how you feel and who you are when you’re riding your skateboard.
