UNITY is a collaborative project between SEASON zine and eight football creatives celebrating what UNITY in the game means to them.
Isobel Mehta is a London-based illustrator and Spurs fan. As well as drawing football content for a Jürgen Klopp book and an adidas Premier League campaign, she also loves drawing complex and surreal scenes with nudists, crocodiles and many more surprising characters.
‘This illustration was lockdown-inspired. It's a family playing together, bringing the outside inside and vice versa. Exploring the physical spaces to do sport within the confinements of the lockdown. I Tried to keep it as vague, architecturally as possible, it could be in any country all over the world and the shared experiences we've had of this pandemic is what unites all of us. That, and the absence of football which many of us felt for a long time I think.’ Isobel Mehta
