'Love for Earth is Sustainable and Kind’ by In Wings Dream

The situation of earth is critical and heavy to think of sometimes for how little we are to this big crisis. Therefore, I want the image present to the public in an easy, light and more approachable tone. The main tagline is “be sustainable” and “be kind”. The first half is linking the ideas of being sustainable and shop local. Supporting local business not only helps out small communities, also helps reduce CO2 and labour cost during the transportation. And the concept of the second half is about veganism which focuses on being kind and ethical to animals, thus reducing the negative impact from the meat industry has made to earth, in the aspect of water, land and food etc. As a vegan myself, I understand some terms could be sensitive when it comes to personal impression or judgments. Therefore, I have wrapped this veganism idea into a more neutral expression under the main character fond of plants and daisies and being friends with all the playful little sheep.
I hope the image can provoke gently with the thinking of being sustainable and kind, hence getting the power to make actions or small changes in daily life like the main character – use tote bag, shop locally, grow plants and be kind to animals ( or even consider flex-vegetarian/ veganism). And hopefully the target audience will proudly wear this T-shirt, being true and happy about themselves that they are – sustainable and kind to earth.
