My people design is based on social cues, particularly how individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often have difficulty recognising and understanding them and therefore do not instinctively learn to adjust their behaviour to suit different social contexts.
I've chosen the National Autistic Society as it is a charity close to my heart. It helps those on the ASD spectrum and their families get the support they need, including campaigning for improved rights, training companies on being more autism-friendly and running specialist schools.
