Shark overfishing has led us to threatened shark populations. Whilst sharks play an important role in the ecosystem, humans on the other side are busy fishing for their fins. Given the fact that hundreds of millions of sharks are fished in a year, it's pretty safe to say that the ocean ecosystem is severely damaged.
That being said, what's with the overfishing?
