Born on the northside of Dublin, Dermot studied Visual Communication at NCAD before beginning his design and illustration career at Carton Levert in Blackrock. After finishing his Master of Arts in Animation he moved to London to work at the world-renowned StudioAKA, before going freelance and setting up his own practice as an illustrator and animator.
