Inside out.. Sometimes you need to let the inside out
PAPYRUS UK
PAPYRUS is a chary focused on helping young people who are struggling with suicidal thoughts and ideation. They work with the young person to prevent this from happening. They will talk to you, guide you, give you the emotional support you need when in dire times. On a personal level, i can say how amazing they are. I have spoke to them both via email and call to work out a safety plan but they also gave me support and validation for my struggles. I really appreciate what they do and I’m thankful that we have them as a service.
We all need to let our insides out. We each need to take time to talk to each other. No problem is ever to big or small. We just need to be there when we really need each other and know that it is okay to let out how you feel. If we talk we are sharing the problem and letting it off out chest. Which makes the problem less. So let’s help raise some money for this charity so they can continue to support those young people in need. Let’s save lives. Let’s do it together.
On a personal note I have struggled with my mental health for many years now. I’ve felt hopeless, suicidal, I’ve made attempts and struggled with self harm, eating disorders and many other problems for many years now so I know how hard things can get and how important it is to have people around who can help.
Let’s do this together and help each other and help save lives.
