This Christmas may look different to last years but there’s one thing that’s certain in these uncertain times. It’s time to pull together and help each other. Since the start of the outbreak, Crisis has been adapting their support to provide critical services to people who are experiencing homelessness. Pre-ordering this t-shirt and sweater, you have helped Crisis to support people who are homeless during coronavirus and to continue this support this Christmas, at a time where thousands will be alone, with nowhere to call home.
Hello, I’m Hattie, a freelance illustrator based in Leeds. I am usually found drawing wobbly people and animals in various oversized accessories (mainly hats). I love to create simple, playful designs with a bold colour palette and lots of fun! I make most of my illustrations by hand, often with brush, black ink and collaged textures. Ultimately, I’m happy if I can make people smile through my illustrations. To add a bit more fun to life is surely a good thing right?
The hug symbolises many things: love, friendship, support, connection, comfort...In these strange times we’re missing the hug. I wanted to create a simple illustration of hope. Soon things will get better.
