Following a spate of violent homophobic hate crimes in central Liverpool last summer Homotopia responded with visible queer art around the city, and commissioned a mural by Rosa Kusabbi titled Hate Has No Place In Liverpool. Unfortunately 4 days after installation to work was pulled down and destroyed.
We got the artwork reinstalled, bigger bolder and queerer. And now it’s on a t-shirt! Get yours and join us on our mission to Queer the City.
All proceeds from the sale of this shirt will go towards our Young Homotopia programme, a partnership project Homotopia runs with GYRO, to deliver workshops, rehearsals and performances for young LGBTQIA people in Liverpool who are interested in self-expression through creativity and performance.
