This is the fourth run of the Get out of your minds and into your Hands t-shirt. So far we have raised over £600 for charities since lockdown. These have included, The Black Curriculum, BLM, Beirut Emergency Fund, The Red Cross Yemen Crisis appeal and now Stonebridge City Farm here in Nottingham.
100% of the profit from this run will go to Stonebridge City Farm.
Stonebridge City Farm is an urban farm in St Ann's, Nottingham. It is a community charity farm that is free to visit. Each week it supports 150+ volunteers of all ages and abilities, with training/therapeutic activities. It provides fresh food, honey, plants, education and sanctuary to the city (both human and animal) and is in need of desperate support to remain open.
Playing with clay is good for your brain ( self-expression through making can lower the stress hormone cortisol), it helps you relax, and is just plain fun. So Get out of your minds and help us support a local treasure.
Dohm Ceramics is a studio in Nottingham, where artist/designer Blue Firth makes functional and sculptural ceramics. Clay Coven, is a clay class that was held at Dohm Ceramics. In the class we meditate and make with clay, talk about the elements and discuss the Moon. More info at dohmshop.com.
