While the poppy isn’t actually the national flower of Palestine, the two have become intertwined based on the similarities between the Palestinian flag and the colours of a poppy (red petals, green leaves, black centre). This illustration was born from that connection, as a way to use my vintage illustrative style in any way that I could to show my support and solidarity for the people in Gaza. 75% of my profits will be donated to PCRF (Palestinian Childrens’ Relief Fund).
