It seems the restrictions imposed at the start of 2021 has sent members of the ‘Boomer Generation’ into a WhatsApp meltdown, resulting in a mission to forward as many rubbish gifs, memes and videos as possible. Being on the receiving end of many of these I started to notice the small line above the message changed from ‘Forwarded’ to ‘Forwarded many times’ meaning this has also been sent to everyone else in their address book.
