Home can have a million different meanings, all depending on your background, upbringing & life experiences. It's what surrounds you and what's inside you at the same time - but ultimately it's what you choose to call home.
As an Italian expat living far from my hometown, figuring out what to call "home" is an ever-changing process that makes me reflect on some really big stuff: identity, belonging, my journey to where I am now. This design is an attempt to visualise my feelings around the topic, and the myriad of answers that I might find in the journey that lies ahead.
At the moment I am going through the process of getting UK citizenship, and I am aware of my privilege of having more than one place that I can call home. I will donate 20% of the profits from this campaign to Refugee Action, a charity working to help refugees and asylum seekers who arrive in the UK.
