This T-shirt is dedicated to LGBTQ people who struggle to come out to their friends and family and have a hard time accepting themselves due to social pressure.
Even though being in the closet seems like a safe option, in reality, it's just a temporary option that tears you apart day by day. Having that in mind, I made a character who tries to escape reality and stays as much as they can in their own closet.
Fortunately, there are organizations out there that bring aid to people in need. Switchboard LGBT+ helpline is one of them, their mission is to support people to explore the right option for themselves.
The phone from the illustration represents the support the character is receiving from the Switchboard helpline.
