" Titled ‘Cara M’anama’ from Gaelic which translates literally from Irish to mean ‘friend of my soul’.
Taking inspiration from the Irish Claddagh symbol of love and friendship, the design celebrates the enduring love of a friend.
Swallows often appear in art to symbolise friendship and loyalty; they sit as a pair on top of the heart, protecting and guarding. Pear blossom is associated with friendship in the language of flowers, and Ivy has traditionally been seen as a symbol of friendship. Both the blossom and Ivy entwine the heart and hands, symbolising the valued support of a friend."
