According to Frontex, the European and Coast Guard Agency, 55,000 people crossed borders irregularly in the Balkan region in 2021.
In 2021 as well, Border Violence Monitoring Network (BVMN) shared up to 398 pushbacks reports, impacting more than 9,600 people-on-the-move in the Balkan region.
People that have the right to seek safety, ask for asylum, and the right have a dignified life. Collective Aid is working in these areas to try and make these journeys less tough and more humane, and that's why we need your help to keep on running our Sarajevo, Subotica, and Belgrade projects
