Hi I’m Luis. Im 12, my best friend Paddy.
Patrick designed a collection through the @rainbowofhopeuk t-shirt campaign and raised a lot of money for the NHS and the Red Cross. So I wanted to do make a design too. I’m the first of 10 collaborations with amazing designers and artists to take the rainbow of hope to a new platform. I had the idea to design a geometric rainbow and I think it looks really fresh (it took hours to complete.)
My Mum is a nurse in Brighton and at her work she helps people who have problems with drugs and alcohol. She told me that some people are turning to drugs or alcohol to help them cope during the pandemic and that the services that support them need money so they can do their work. She said that it is harder to raise money for these charities because they are not as popular or well known as some other charities, so I decided I would like to help them because you never know when you might have a difficult time in your life.
I chose do design this a shopper bag , a bag for life. Because it is nearly summer and everyone will be going to the beach. I live near Brighton and can not wait to be at the beach
