"When I was approached by Print Social for this campaign I had to say yes. B:friend is such a valuable charity in todays day and age where we need real connection more than ever. I'm incredibly lucky to still have my grandparents and be there to have irreplaceable conversations with them. I see how much they value and benefit from in-person conversations. B:friend help provide elderly folk that aren't as fortunate to have the companionship they deserve. Such a beautiful and valuable organisation that deserves recognition. I feel honoured to help represent them through my illustrations.
This design was inspired by just a few of the stories from B:friend members. From a cuppa and chat, to helping people get out and about. Each part of the illustration is a snapshot into the wonderful work that B:friend do to bring around a sense of community and connection. " - Chiara Celini
