We want to help spread the word and inspire students to explore a career in the arts sector despite it being stigmatised and seen with prejudices. By showcasing successful individuals and creating a long term conversation we can show the art sector as a viable career option to those aged 16-25.
All profits of this campaign will go towards an IRL event held as part of York Design Week 2021, and later released digitally for a wider audience. We’re bringing together a two day event with five industry experts as keynote speakers, talking about their experiences and journey in the arts sector as well as hosting 1-2-1 talks allowing students and young people to discover the wide range and diverse career options available to them within the industry and have direct access and dedicated time with peers. From designers to music producers and from copy writers to cartoonists, we’re showcasing over 30 job roles to inspire and encourage the creatives of tomorrow.
A collaboration between the York based creative agency Dogeatcog and Bright Young Things, a networking event and community built up of people early in their careers within the arts sector coming together to learn, inspire and grow from one another.
