ANN KIERNAN

Ann is an Irish illustrator and animator based in Berlin. Her illustrations are mainly vibrant watercolours, gouache or acrylic and strong bold inks. Her style is a blend of realism with a contemporary edge. Her personal work has been exhibited in Ireland and Germany.

Her editorial work has been published in food magazines and contemporary independent publications. In 2018 she was shortlisted for the AOI World Illustration Awards, Editorial & Highly Commended in the Cheltenham Illustrations Awards.

She studied classical animation in Dublin, Ireland and is currently studying for a Masters in Illustration with the University of Hertfordshire.
