Queer people deserve joy and safety.
As a queer trans man, I am beside myself in seeing governments around the world fighting hard to strip the LGBTQIA+ community of any shred of security or comfort in our everyday lives. I use my art as a way to steal some of that joy back for us, or to at least show the world the beauty in our lives and communities. This pride month, I made this design specifically to remind us of what we are owed as human beings and to wear as a statement against those who wish us harm and misery. As a good friend of mine always says, "Thrive out of spite."
