I wanted to create a design that positively represents our being with nature. I created neuron-'like' leaves to represent the leaves of new connections and thoughts whilst wandering in nature. I want to contribute to MQ Mental Health research as I really believe in the movement for funding much needed research to help address the complexities of our minds. Having experienced anxiety in the past, nature was an outlet for me, to help me process my thoughts which is represented in this artwork.
