Last summer we made a 'Brave & Strong - Love Wins' t shirt in response to the overwhelming support from friends, family and people who have read Emma's story and had the urge to help, donate, run & spread the love.
So on Mental Health Awareness Day decided to bring back Love Wins - By buying this t shirt you will raise awareness of post natal mental illness & increase support to mums & families. ALL profits go to APP & Mental Health UK. There is still a long way to go in recognising maternal mental health problems, and ensuring good support and access to specialist perinatal mental health care for all who need it.
Big love to everyone who gets involved. And to all the mums & families dealing with PND & PP... you're brave, you're strong and you will get through this. Love wins.

Read Emma's story below:
Arthur Jude Watt was born on the 21st October 2018 and not long after, I developed chronic insomnia with racing thoughts and struggled to function - fast forward 3 months and endless suicidal thoughts and I was admitted into hospital into a specialist mother and baby unit, designed to care for women suffering from severe post natal mental health. I was diagnosed with Post Natal Depression and spent 6 months on the unit receiving care from a wonderful team of consultants, doctors, mental health nurses and support workers. I was taking a cocktail of medication and also ended up having 10 sessions of ECT which is an invasive treatment to treat severe episodes of depression. I’m still receiving support (it’s going to take me some time to make a full recovery and heal my mind). This journey has been heartbreaking but I am determined to come out of this illness braver and stronger than ever before. I couldn’t have made it without my incredible husband, family and wonderful friends and the amazing support of the NHS. I want to share my story and hope to support other women who suffer from this cruel illness. Love Always Em x
