CREASIAN COLLECTIVE is a charitable platform made up of Asian and ally creatives where you can buy art in the form of t-shirts, tote bags, postcards, prints, stickers and more.
Racism against the Asian community has always been prevalent. However, when COVID-19 hit in 2020, this was amplified even more with hate crimes towards east and south east Asians seeing a 300% rise in the UK. Speaking to many Asian people about racism and micro-aggressions, it often feels that as a community we are deemed overly sensitive or paranoid, with anti-Asian racism not taken seriously. CREASIAN COLLECTIVE was born out of a desire for more visibility, more representation and more awareness. As a collective, we are keen to create a space for both Asian and ally creatives to come together to combat Asian hate and celebrate Asian culture – now more than ever do we need to unite to stop racism and appreciate all that these beautiful cultures have to offer.
